WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Are you seeking a deeper understanding of your role as a Christian woman?
Well, this class is for you. It will help you:
- As a wife, to walk closer in partnership with your husband.
- As a Single woman, this class will help you recognize a godly man and prepare to become the woman and wife that God has ordained you to be.
Unique Women class is not just a Bible study nor a women’s fellowship where meetings allow simply for women to learn something new or make new friends. It is an effective womanhood course that challenges participants not just to learn, but to grapple with and apply Biblical principles to their lives.
Unique Women, was launched because the principles outlined and expressed in the curriculum is for everyone to know and follow. The curriculum expresses the Godly responsibilities of men and women not as society deems men and women roles but as God designed and commanded. This brings truth and peace to our lives. The workbooks feature self-tests, Bible reading plans and “further study” sections that engage participants and leaders in foundational Scriptural truths.
The Curriculum
1. Revised Maximized Manhood
We realize our need for God in every area of their lives and start a fresh relationship with Christ and begin mending our relationship with our families.
2. Courage
We make peace with our past, learn the power of forgiveness and the value of character. We are challenged to speak up for Christ to other women.
3. Strong Men in Tough Times
We reframe trials, battles and discouragement in light of Scripture and gain solid footing for business, career, and relationship choices in the future.
4. Communication, Sex, and Money
We increase our ability to communicate, place the right values on sex and money in their relationships, and greatly improve our relationships, whether single or married.
5. The Power of Potential
We start making solid business and career choices based on Biblical principles while building our core character, which affects our entire lives.
6. Never Quit
We take the ten steps for entering or leaving any situation. Especially important for jobs, relationships, or any crisis in life.
7. Unique Woman
We discover what makes a us tick, from adolescence through maturity, to be able to minister to a spouse’s uniqueness at any age.
8. Sexual Integrity
We recognize the sacredness of the sexual union, overcoming mistakes and blunders and committing to righteousness in our sexuality.
9. Treasures
We practice Biblical solutions and principles on the job to find treasures such as the satisfaction of exercising integrity and a job well done.

Our ministry grows when women not only “buy into” the ministry to women but also become the ministers to women. Creating a vibrant Unique Women Ministry takes prayer, sweat and determination. Success is the result of faith and constancy-to continue to focus on the objective, despite any momentary obstacle-to continue meeting, no matter the season or interruption of special events. Women will not commit to a moving target.
Building momentum takes prayer, planning, preparation, perseverance and perspiration. Our singular purpose of the Lakewood Unique Women Ministry is to facilitate learning of God's principles and patterns for God's Daughters to live to Gods maximum potential; a place of rest, blessings, success, ability and authority.
Our ministry is in motion, now it’s time to put our women to work! All women need to be “spiritually employed”. We will work with ministries like Freedom Ministry to include ample outreach opportunities included in yearly calendars. Outreach cannot be reduced to fellowship outings (i.e. parties, golf outings, etc.). Fellowship is the by- product of ministering together, not the goal.
Call To Action
1. Be a willing, humble and faithful student, to come with eyes and ears open to receive God’s Word and principles for maximized living, and to listen with two sets of ears: student and as a potential facilitator.
2. Begin to apply the principles of God’s Word to your life to then be able to experience God’s maximum potential for your life, and to ultimately be able to do His Will for your life.
Let this course open the door to things one could only hope, think or imagine. He has a plan and purpose for each of us. We will see healing, growth and beautiful transformation. We will be blessed as we study and grapple with His Word.
Class Meetings
Classes meet on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. You may elect to join a Tuesday group or a Friday group. The group you select, will be your permanent group throughout the curriculum. This allows you to share and bond with other ladies, over the next year.
On "No Class - Self Study" days or if you miss a class, be sure to read the lessons on your own and answer the questions in the workbook. Reach out to your facilitator for the answer key, so that you are ready to take the online exam, when the book is completed.
*Due to the current pandemic, classes are held via the Zoom platform (uniquewomenzoom.com @ 7 PM. CST Tuesdays & Fridays). Our Lakewood Church leadership will advise when we are able to resume meeting face-to-face at the church.
